Are you disappointed by the lack of community for gay women in Utah? Do you wish there was a way you could make friends and do fun activities with other like-minded women in the area? Then the SLC Rainbow Girls Social Club is for you! Join us and come discover an awesome group of women and non-binary folks from all parts of the state! We have a wide variety of meetup events (everything from game nights, craft nights, book club, museums, restaurants to snowshoeing/hiking and everything in between!). We are constantly trying new events, so join up and check out what's on the schedule!
The ultimate goal of our group is to create a fun, safe and enjoyable environment. We achieve this through awesome people, awesome Meetups, and copious amounts of good times! Hope to see you at the Meetups!
***THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU APPLY TO JOIN US***
- This group is ONLY open to gay/bi/pan/poly/queer/trans women or non-binary people who like females.
-WE ARE NOT A DATING SITE! If you are looking for romance, a better option would any of the dating services available on this big ol' internet of ours. That said, if you happen to meet someone you like then that is great, but it's definitely not our focus here.
-WE WANT TO SEE YOUR FACE AND KNOW YOUR NAME! When filling out a membership request, please be sure to include a photo OF YOU (does not have to be your facebook photo), and a name that we can call you by. We require this as a means of verification and we also use this to identify each other at Meetups. Once you join the group and come to a couple of Meetups, feel free to change your pic if you'd like (though we prefer to see your beautiful face!).
FYI: If you have a common name, like "Anna" you may want to consider appending a last initial to your name, as we have multiple "Anna"s in the group already.
-PLAN TO BE AN ACTIVE MEMBER! Here's the deal...Meetups are pretty simple. You either show up and have an AWESOME time! So, to make sure that you are sharing your awesome self with us, please check out our Meetup page regularly, come to Meetups when you can, and suggest meetups you would like to see.
