18:35 - Making State and Data Work Without the Drama - Itay Ganor, Full Stack Engineer @ Connecteam

Let's be honest- integrating state management and data fetching in large apps often leads to awkward workarounds and maintenance headaches. How can we effectively bridge this gap, avoid common pitfalls, and build solutions for future developers (including you!) can actually understand and work with easily?
This session explores practical strategies, using tools like Tanstack Query and Mobx, focused on achieving scalable and performant architectures where state and data work together harmoniously. We'll cover techniques for framework-agnostic data fetching, efficient data sharing across components without excessive re-renders, and managing queries effectively for both React components and global stores, all while following modern best practices, resulting in more scalable and easier-to-manage applications.

Itay is a full stack developer with a deep love for frontend.
He has 9 years of experience building both production-grade systems and side projects.
In his current role, he works on the Job Scheduling feature at Connecteam, a platform that helps businesses manage their deskless workforce.
He enjoys getting philosophical about frontend and CSS, and finds joy in building thoughtful, well-integrated interfaces from the ground up.

When heavy calculations are required on a web app - it's 99.99% a
consensus - let's do that on the backend.
However, let's not forget that this comes with a price: waiting for network requests could have a major impact on user experience.
On the other hand, relying solely on the client to handle the workload can lead to poor performance and delays.
Therefore, the question arises: how can we strike a balance between real-time user experience and efficient processing?
In comes Webassembly - a powerful technology that allows heavy computations on the web.
In this talk we will cover the fundamentals of the technology, demonstrate real use cases, and conclude with a live demo.

Daniela is a senior frontend developer and a team lead.
She’s an ex-Wix with 10 years of experience in software development.
In her current position she leads a team at Artlist, a creative-technology company that develops products for digital creators.
She finds the combination of creativity and technology most inspiring.
One of her favourite parts of the job is building stuff from scratch and integrating everything around to make it work.
Finally, connecting this technology with the people is what really makes it great.

19:50 - The Three Pillars of Software: Code, Script, and Configuration -Sharon Rosner, Full Stack Team Leader @ TITAN

It is very uncommon to find a real software product with files avoiding the classification of Code, Script and Configuration. Indeed, mostly the duo - Code and Configuration is the well popular and distinguished couple.. but are we really being mindful about what makes a part of our software Code or Configuration? What about Code or Script? These can be even trickier to differentiate between.
We will define the terms in the context of modern software programming, lending from natural order and architecture. We will try to better distinguish and understand what parts of our software belong where, and hopefully, reach a realization that can embetter our software development and thus our product.

Sharon is a software engineer with over 15 years of experience. He leads R&D teams, builds architectures, and is still passionate about hands-on work. Currently, he's a Full Stack Team Lead at TITAN. In the past, he held engineering manager roles at Lisuto AI and NgSoft.
