What we’re about
Concerned about where the country is heading? You're not alone. Join others who care about what's happening to democracy, equality, human rights, social justice, sustainability, and other important topics. It's ok if you've never been to a protest, march, or town hall -- start here. You really can make a difference.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Join this group to learn about local events
- Join/create a local organization to build a network of connected communities
- Discuss your own Meetup ideas in the group conversation
- BUILD COMMUNITY! This is the most important thing you can do. Community keeps you from burning out. Community gives you resources. Community gives you people to turn to when problems arise. Build community.

GROUP UPDATE
It seems like Meetup is switching the free Resist groups to regular paid groups. Because of this and lack of participation in some of the surrounding communities' Resist groups (while people are joining and unable to participate), I've decided to expand the Fort Collins group to a general NoCo group, to include communities in Larimer and Weld County. If you would like to host an event or have another group's events added the the schedule, let me know!
