Welcome to Resist, Persist, Insist: Mobilizing Politically-Minded Women! We are a community of women who are passionate about politics and human rights. If you're reeling from the results of the 2024 Election and don't know what to do next, join us!
Whether you want to learn how to advocate for equitable change, discuss strategies for political activism and engagement, or simply connect with like-minded women, this is the group for you. Let's come together to resist apathy, prejudice and selfishness, persist in our efforts to change the hearts and minds of Michigan voters who routinely vote against their own interests, and insist on a better future for all regardless of race, gender, sexuality, or religion. What: Drinks, Dinner and Dissent over Italian
Where: Pop's For Italian in Ferndale, Michigan
When: Feb. 8, 2025 at 6 pm
Why: To connect IRL and lay out plans for the coming year and/or drink and have fun.
How: You'll need to RSVP to this event no later than January 31. The place and date/time are subject to change depending on how many people want to come and whether reservations are possible (I will keep you posted about this). Everyone will be responsible for paying their fair share.Remember to let me know by the end of January if you can make it.
