Welcome to our vibrant social group for ladies!
Our group’s mission is simple: to bring ladies together for fun and friendship. We organise a wide variety of social events based around the Ribble Valley and surrounding local areas. Ladies of any age are very welcome to join us, however the majority of our members are young-at-heart over 50’s.
From casual evenings out at local restaurants to gentle countryside walks (usually with cake at the end!), cinema trips, brunches, theatre shows, lunches, live music nights, day trips, comedy events, dancing, weekends away, festivals and even holidays—we’re confident you’ll find activities that spark your interest!
We keep our group size to a maximum of 50 members, ensuring plenty of opportunities to get involved and meet both new and familiar faces. Our goal is to create lasting friendships through laughter, fun, and shared experiences. Whether you’re new to the area or just looking to expand your social circle, we’re here to make it easy and enjoyable.
We understand that meeting new people can sometimes feel intimidating, so whether you prefer a casual coffee meet-up or a larger group social, we’re sure there’s something for everyone. We ensure that all events are welcoming, and our hosts are always happy to meet you and provide meeting/contact details to help you feel at ease.
To help cover the costs of running our group on Meetup, we kindly ask for a small annual subscription fee of £10. We hope you understand that this helps keep the group going, and at just £10 a year, it’s a small price to pay for being part of a wonderful community of like-minded ladies and enjoying some fantastic events! Please know that we’re not looking to make a profit—any extra funds after covering costs will go into a group fund to benefit our members.
We encourage members to suggest and host their own events, so if you have an idea, feel free to get in touch with one of our leadership team members—they’ll be happy to support you in organising it.
Join us for a year filled with friendship, laughter, and exciting events.
Thank you for your support—we couldn’t do it without you.
We can’t wait to welcome you!
