Important Announcement:
Update on Mark as of 6/2/25 - Mark has completed 15 of his 33 radiation treatments. Things are going well. He continues to have GI issues which we are attempting to manage through diet as much as possible. He is missing his salads since fiber seems to be an enemy, but he is still upbeat about his treatment.
No meetings until further notice.
We welcome you to the Roswell Insight Meditation Community! We are a teacher led community dedicated to cultivating greater understanding, compassion, and wisdom, through the teachings of the Buddha. We practice in the tradition of Insight Meditation, or Vipassana, which teaches methods for opening the heart and mind, and seeing more clearly into the true nature of our interconnected existence. We welcome practitioners from diverse spiritual and secular traditions. It is not necessary to become a “Buddhist” to participate in our community, and our tradition emphasizes our shared potential for awakening, rather than following a fixed system of beliefs.
