What we’re about
Think Book Club, but instead of reading books, you watch movies and TV Shows! All in the comfort of your own home. Then we meet once a month to drink coffee (or adult beverages), maybe even eat lunch or snacks to discuss what type of "review" we'd give the show on Rotten Tomatoes. If you aren't familiar with Rotten Tomatoes, this is a user-driven review site for movies and TV shows.
At the end of each meeting, the group votes for the next movie/TV Show to review for the next month. This is all intended to be a fun social event with no seriousness intended. You can even read the Cliffs Notes if you don't want to watch the movie/show. Haven't watched it? No problem! Swing by anyway and join in the fun.
Our venue, B'Art, is a small space, so RSVPs are mandatory during winter and somewhat lax during the summer (unless it rains), as they have outside seating.
The membership is open to all adults 19+; the meetup language is English, although we are happy if you bring any language skills. We could all benefit from some help with our Portuguese.
