Beginner Ballroom Dance
All levels are welcome
2-3 mini lessons spread through the dance
1 basic, 1 additional move

General dancing starts at 7 pm
Cost $15 per person

This dance is to especially support new ballroom dancers! We'll rotate through 6 beginner dances: waltz, rumba, cha-cha, east coast swing, foxtrot, and hustle, plus some fun line dances. Requests for other dances are welcome.

We hope to make this a monthly dance.

Dreamlights Studio is located in the ViaPort Mall in Rotterdam.
Park on the side of the Mall where you can see the signs for Bingo and 99 Restaurant, but on the far left as you are facing the mall. Go in the entrance closest to the Dreamlights studio banner. The dance studio is on the right once you get into the main corridor, across from the used book store.

Bird Walk at Albany Pine Bush Discovery Center- Karner Barrens East
8 am to 11:30 ish

Free, donations are welcome.

We'll be looking for early migrants.

Please bring your binoculars and field notebook or Ebird app to keep records. Water and other necessities for an easy to moderate hike.
This hike is a 3-4 hour hike. This hike is a bit more advanced. There are roots, steep sections with and without "stairs", and it is about 3 miles round trip.

If there are enough people, we can split up into groups for faster walkers, slower walkers and birders, and/or if some people want to take the 1 mile blue trail, you can take a shorter walk. The Pine Bush management recommends a maximum of 15 people in a group to protect the environment.

I think the outdoor restrooms are open at this time, but you may want to go before you arrive. They will for sure be open when the learning center opens at 10 am.

We'll meet under the "tent" near the outdoor restrooms.
