Register through Guilderland Parks and Rec- see the link below.I'm offering a 5 week Bird Walk series to see how the populations and species change during peak spring migration at the Guilderland Community Gardens.
This bird walk is full of diverse habitat and thus our species count is usually quite amazing. This is the 4th year I've led this program, and our species count is over 100. Each walk we usually get between 30-45 species.
Although this walk is fairly easy, we do go through the woods where there are tree roots and there is one section of a fair incline/decline, not steep, but for those of us who are in medium shape, it causes an increase in heartrate- lol. Waterproof shoes are recommended.
