What we’re about
Hello and thanks for passing by and checking out our meet-up group. Let us introduce ourselves, we are Mark and Lorraine, founders of RVSP, the Ribble Valley Social Pursuits Meet Up Group. We are both keen walkers but also enjoy running, cycling, climbing, skiing and playing football, tennis, badminton and the odd swim. We also enjoy a bit of fun with good food, the odd drink, a bit of culture and most importantly, meeting new people like you.
We aim to be a social group hosting a variety of activities both outdoors and indoors for people in their 30’s and 40’s and 50s in and around the Ribble Valley, Trough of Bowland and West Pennine Moors area. We will also venture out further afield to the Lakes, Dales, Snowdonia and Peak District from time to time.
As well as doing a variety of sporting activities, we also aim to relax and do a wide range of social events from nights out to sightseeing trips. We also want your input so if you have any suggestions then we’ll be really happy to hear from you.
As we have to pay for using the meet-up facility, we will charge a small rate of £1 per person to anyone who wishes to join any of our events, with many of our socials free to attend.
