What we’re about

Connect and network with women, over wine! Whether you're new to Sacramento or just want to meet with other women who also enjoy a nice glass of vino. Let's go out for wine tastings and sample some food pairings. Wine consumption not required.

CODE OF CONDUCT
The Sacramento Women’s Wine Club is dedicated to providing a respectful, fun, and harassment-free environment for everyone. \

We do not tolerate harassment of any kind. Harassment includes offensive verbal or written comments related to sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, age, body size, race, nationality, or religious beliefs, deliberate intimidation, threats, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. Community members asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. \

\

If a community member engages in harassing behavior, the organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender, expulsion from the SWWC community, and/or asking the bar we’re present at to expel the offender. If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact an SWWC organizer immediately, or as soon as you feel comfortable doing so.
We ask members to actively participate and be respectful of the organizers and other members. Members must RSVP to events in good faith and update their RSVP status immediately if they are unable to attend. Members are expected to meet minimum attendance requirements to remain in the group:
- Update RSVP status at least 24 hours before the event (preferably 48 hours)
- Respond to Meetup messages from the organizers in a timely manner
- RSVP with intent to attend and verify with your calendar
If a member fails to follow the attendance guidelines, the organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender and/or expulsion from the SWWC community. Failure to show to an event without ever updating the RSVP, aka “no show”, is grounds for immediate expulsion from the group.
If you have questions or concerns, please contact one of the organizers:
