Sacred SoulScapes is a Christian ministry that blends together nature and the outdoors, yoga and physical movement, and friendship and sacred conversation. Recognizing that many people connect with God most powerfully in "nontraditional" spaces (such as atop a mountain, or gazing at a flowing stream, or holding a powerful warrior pose on the yoga mat, or joining together in a deep conversation with a "soul friend"), it is our aim to create meaningful community and relationships around shared passions, and in so doing to create space for personal spiritual deepening.
While we are, at our core, a Christian ministry, we recognize that many people who long for spiritual depth and community do not come from a particular religious background or faith tradition. And even those with a "spiritual home" often express and live out their faith very differently. Therefore, we are committed to meeting each participant where they are and respecting any and all faith traditions. We are not here to "evangelize" or convert, but simply to make space for all people to encounter God in the ways that are most authentic and meaningful for them.
Our events will include day hikes (with elements of sacred conversation woven throughout), outdoor yoga classes, yoga hikes, and "wild church" gatherings (worship gatherings in outdoor spaces). Most events will take place in central Pennsylvania, within about an hour radius of the Hershey area.
