What we’re about
A group for women who love to read. We will focus on NYT best sellers, Pulitzer prize winners, classics, and non-fiction.
This is a group for women and those who identify as women, sorry guys.
Dues are 10 dollars a year. Please note, these auto renew at your one-year anniversary. I hope you enjoy reading with us for many years, but if it is not for you, to avoid being charged remove yourself from the group.
There are three meetings a month, so you can choose what type of meeting is more your style. The Monday meeting is more structured. I wouldn't say formal, but we do have an agenda we try to keep to. The Brunch meeting is a little less structured, but still has some. The Happy Hour Meeting is the least structured and more open discussion. This is in conjunction with the Happy Reader's Book Club, so there is a chance it will be mixed gendered. Come to whichever fits you the best, or all three if you want to!
This should go without saying, but you are required to attempt to read the book to attend the meetings. If you hate the book and cannot finish, that counts as trying to read it. Please still come and tell us why you could not get through it!
We do a different genre each month:
January: Previous Pulitzer For Fiction
February: Romance
March: Sci-Fi
April: Thriller
May: Classic
June: Historical Fiction
July: Random Genre
August: Mystery
September: Non-Fiction
October: Spooky
November: Memoir
December: Fantasy/Magical Realism
Happy reading!
