### Since our beginning in 1955, as the sun rose over Fremont Peak, community members rose with it to attend the weekly meetings of Salinas Sunrise Toastmasters.

Salinas Sunrise Toastmasters is a member club of Toastmasters International, a non-profit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs. The organization's membership exceeds 358,000 in more than 16,800 clubs in 143 countries. Since 1924, Toastmasters International has helped men and women from diverse backgrounds become more confident speakers, communicators, and leaders.

When the sun rises on a Tuesday morning, will you be rising with it to attend our meeting? We find that a Toastmasters club meeting is an invigorating way to start the day. When everyone else struggles to get started, we're already approaching full stride. Come and wake up with us. You will find a friendly and welcoming group.
