
What we’re about
San Diego Machine Learning is an active group for AI & data science education and networking. We are machine learning practitioners, students, and enthusiasts who want to get together to share, discuss and try various techniques -- and possibly hack on the occasional challenge. We have a wide range of experience levels with machine learning either through work, school or personal exploration. We currently have a monthly papers & lightning talks event, book clubs, project time, networking, and a mix of other ML events. Everyone is welcome!

Computer Vision
Chapter 2 - Image FormationWe are starting a new series on computer vision! This will be mix of content from the book Computer Vision: Algorithms and Applications by Richard Szeliski and the workshop series Practical Computer Vision by Antonio Rueda-Toicen. A PDF copy of the book is downloadable from the book website (https://szeliski.org/Book/), and the workshops are available on GitHub (https://github.com/andandandand/practical-computer-vision).
We will start covering computer vision fundamentals from the book. On July 19, we will discuss chapter 2. Everyone is welcome to join.

No experience on this kind of problem is required, we can set you up on Kaggle and start learning about the problem together.
