Welcome to the San Diego Mahjong Club!
Are you looking for a chill group of Mahjong lovers in San Diego? You’re in the right place. We’re a friendly, inclusive club of Mahjong enthusiasts. Our primary format is Zung Jung (ZJ) (pronounced zhung young) — a balanced, beginner-friendly Mahjong variant that also has strategic depth for more experienced players. It’s similar to the Hong Kong (Cantonese) and Riichi (Japanese) styles of Mahjong. We also explore other styles, but ZJ is our go-to.
