We are open to new members again. I look forward to meeting you soon.
Are you an easy-going, upbeat, friendly person looking for other friendly people to get together on weekdays (Monday - Friday) - for lunch, dinner, local events, movies, museums, or easy walks, and some nice conversations?
We will meet a couple times a month probably, such as for weekday lunch in the Tri-Valley or Walnut Creek area, or for weekday dinner, a movie, or a local outing or event. We may occasionally meet on a weekend, too, but we will likely start with weekday events mostly. Usually, we will keep groups small so that it is easy to go places without reservations or complexity - and so that we can actually have some good conversations.
Rule: Be courteous and kind.
Treat all members and the host courteously and kindly during, before, and after events. If you are not a good fit for the group per the host's discretion, you will be removed.
Only RSVP to events you plan to attend, and change your RSVP to No if you cannot. If you don't change your RSVP to No, or notify the organizer, before an event you cannot join - you may be removed from the group. Repeated last-minute cancellations may also result in group removal. In addition, signing up as soon as an event is posted and then repeatedly cancelling (aka place holding ;-)) is also grounds for removal. Again, please only RSVP to events you have confirmed that you can attend. Obviously, life happens and things change - but if this happens frequently, then re-consider signing up for an event unless there is already a waitlist.
