Join us for a meetup in San Francisco's outermost western edge at Ocean Plant (800 Great Highway) on October 24, 5:30PM. Our friends on San Francisco's westside are hosting part 2 of an environmental happy hour (beers, wine and water on the house) at Ocean Plant's community space. This event will focus on learning from visionary community and park place makers about the challenges, opportunities, and the road ahead of us to create an Ocean Beach Park through Proposition K. The panelist include:
- Michael Boland, FASLA; Landscape Architect and Parkmaker, Leader in the Effort to Rehabilitate the Presidio
- Willett Moss, FASLA, FAAR; Founding Partner CMG Landscape Architecture, Leader committed to making democratic public open space in San Francisco
- Claire Mooney, ASLA; Landscape Architect and Richmond District resident; leader in community-centered design for Bay Area parks

I've been waiting for a cooler, clear day to post this hike. Yeah!
Starting from this free parking lot, we can go up and over West Peak to explore the North side of tam. Expect some lovely forest trails, sweeping views and stretches on bridges.Optional Foam roller stretch after under a beautiful huge oak tree.
