What we’re about
Our vision is to create a network of outdoors enthusiasts to share our adventures, to learn from, to have fun with, and to create life long friends. We hike in the Santa Monica Mountains. This is a non profit organization and we will be donating back to the community by having beach cleanups. Our group is also committed to protecting the special places we hike. Our new conservation effort seeks to protect threatened areas in the local mountains through fun and easy actions we can take. Have fun Hiking and hope to see you soon!

Upcoming events (2)
See all- 💦💧 TRAIL CANYON FALLS - JOSELITO'S MEXICAN FOOD💦💧Trail Canyon Trail Parking, Shadow Hills, CA
-PLEASE NOTE: We will leave at 12:50 P.M. or shortly thereafter.
-DISTANCE: 4.8 miles round trip. ELEVATION GAIN: 1012 feet
-MEDIUM DIFFICULTY WITH SOME SCRAMBLING TO BASE OF FALLS
-8 EZ STREAM CROSSINGS. USING POLES WILL KEEP FEET DRY.
-WEAR SHOES WITH GOOD TRACTION.-WARMER WEATHER BRING LOTS OF WATER!!!!
-TEMPS EXPECTED TO BE 90 DEGREES. SO LOTS AND LOTS OF WATER. 😁A picturesque hike into a sunny canyon with a charming waterfall splashing down 30-40 feet into a shady creek pool. We'll do 8 creek crossings on a wide trail as we gain elevation. Half way into the hike the path narrows and snakes around a deepening canyon until Trail Canyon Falls comes into view on our right. There is a very steep, short rocky scramble to descend. There are ropes to hang onto as we descend to the base of the falls. The "crab walk" method works well. PLEASE BE SAFE!!! WE WILL HELP EACH OTHER DESCEND. There is an option to go to the top overlooking the falls which we'll discuss before the hike.
-DOGS ARE ALLOWED HERE ON LEASH, BUT PLEASE BE CAREFUL IF YOU ARE GOING ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE BASE OF THE FALLS.
-POISON OAK ALONG THE TRAIL, BUT AVOIDABLE.
-THE STREAMS ARE EASILY NAVIGABLE WITH BOULDER HOPPING USING POLES.
-AN EXTRA PAIR OF SHOES FOR AFTER THE HIKE IS SUGGESTED
-LIMITED PARKING AT TRAIL HEAD, PARKING ALONG BIG TUJUNGA CANYON ROAD EAST AND WEST OF THE TRAILHEAD. CARPOOL SUGGESTED.
Please be advised that while we will do our best to look out for you we are all responsible for ourselves. Use good judgment, don't take off by your self, and let one of the leaders with walkie talkies know if you are splitting off.
