FAQs
Q: What kind of events do you do?
Trivia, paint and sip, live music, shows, comedy, drinks/food, easy hikes, scenic walks and seasonal events.
Q: How will I find you?
We'll let you know how to spot us at each event, and we'll be looking for you as well. We'll try to find a visible place at every meetup to be found.
Q: Do you take suggestions from the group?
Absolutely! Message Paul or Jenn!
Q: Can I bring a friend who isn't on meetup?
Of course! Just let us know in advance so we know how many people to account for.
Q: I signed up for an event, but now I can't come, what should I do?
Change your RSVP to "Not going" ASAP to open up spots for those who can come to the event, and so we know how many people to expect.
Q: Should I go to trivia even if I'm not good at trivia?
Yes! This group is all about having fun first and foremost. Having said that, it is usually the person who doesn't think they're good at trivia that has the perfect answer to a key question.
Q: I found my partner at your group, can we still come to events?
Yes. In fact, this is what we're hoping happens!
Q: I'm 24 or 46; Can I still come to an event?
We're not checking identification; the age ranges are a rough guide.
Q: Do you collect money or dues?
No. You're only responsible for paying for any cost you incur at an event. In some cases events will be ticketed and you will be responsible for getting a ticket in advance. Failure to buy a ticket in advance, as posted in the event, may result in you not being able to attend the event.
Q: Are you a matchmaker or will you help me find someone?
No. We are a social group, only hoping you will find romance or friendship through events. However, we have a great relationship with Micropolitan Matchmakers and we may promote each other's events. If any member is incapable of remaining kind and courteous, please let leadership know immediately. If need be, organizers can remove members from the group or take further action.
