Each week, writers around the world gather on WordCamp to read and critique our work out loud. Join us to experience your words from an new perspective and get real-world feedback on your novel excerpts, short stories, non-fiction or poetry.
Hearing your words read out loud also helps you identify what's working and what isn't working. Your ear will catch awkward or unnecessary phrases. What sounds eloquent in our heads might seem clunky when spoken out loud. It also helps you find the music in your words as you develop your voice. Live readings are useful to get a feel for the flow of your prose. Great authors select words not just for their meaning, but for emotional impact, rhythm, and sound
How to submit?
- Just bring your work in a google document, double-spaced, up to 2000 words max. No need to submit in advance. Be sure to enable sharing so anyone with the link can comment on the document.
- After you have participated for a while and helped others with feedback, you can host a special live reading of your project up to 10,000 words (around 2 chapters). How to attend?

Participants will build and expand their skills continuously as we explore every aspect of game development. From basic blueprints and interactive mechanics, to advanced rigging, animation, environment design, and lighting, we'll work our way up to creating small complete games. We encourage experimentation and peer teaching, so whether you're a beginner or experienced developer looking to deepen your expertise, our sessions provide a supportive environment to learn, create, and innovate together in Unreal Engine 5.
