What we’re about
Securely Speaking is a skilled community of Toastmasters hailing from California, Washington, and Texas. Our club members boast more than 3+ years of experience at Toastmasters across various Toastmasters clubs around the U.S. We are not just about honing our own skills, we are passionate about sharing our expertise with newcomers and connecting with leaders from clubs in District 101 for collaborative growth.
We are a friendly, welcoming club that meets online every Tuesday from 12:05 PM - 1:00 PM PST. No experience required to join us. You might be wondering, “No experience whatsoever?” That’s right! We understand that public speaking can be intimidating, but here at Securely Speaking, it’s like having a conversation among friends you haven’t met yet. Our motto this year is “Join & Enjoy”, emphasizing that the most significant growth begins with showing up, regardless of your speech’s execution or your performance in impromptu speeches.
Stuck on creating a speech? Want more practice with impromptu speaking? The Speechathon is a space where you are able to practice your impromptu speeches in a longer format (5 - 7 min) than the usual Table Topics (1 - 2 min).
Not only do you get to practice these speeches, you'll also get feedback as well! We hope you can join each end of the month to hone these skills.
