Would you like to slow down in nature, notice more, and invite a sense of awe, calm, and wonder into your day?
Join us for a Nature Journaling adventure every third Sunday of the month! Each month, we explore a different natural gem within San Francisco, pausing to capture our observations, curiosity, and moments of joy in our journals — using words, pictures, and numbers.
Event Details
⛰️Location: San Bruno Mountain State & County Park
San Bruno Mountain, a significant natural landmark just south of San Francisco, California, is a biodiversity hotspot characterized by its unique geology and climate. These factors contribute to a unique ecosystem that supports rare and endangered species. Lichens on the mountain are important for their beauty, their ecological role, their value as indicators of environmental health, and the potential to discover unique species within this preserved landscape. We will focus on collectively exploring and learning more about Lichens.
