What we’re about
We get together on weekends to wander around San Francisco, sketching people and places, natural and urban. We usually sketch for 2-3 hours, then sit down in a cafe to share sketches and chat. Sometimes we join up with other sketching groups or do field trips outside the city. Everyone welcome.

• a stool or pad to sit on in case the benches are cold and/or wet
• warm clothing, if the fog is inAlso:
• If you need to grab a coffee, tea or snack, I suggest the Sausalito Bakery & Cafe.
• Tag your sketches #marinsketchers on Instagram.*The park is named for Viña del Mar, Chile, one of Sausalito’s Sister Cities. It's a small, triangle-shaped park in the heart of downtown and is famous for the ornate elephant statues moved from the ‘Court of the Universe’ complex of the Panama–Pacific International Exposition of 1915.
This is the first meet up sketching event of Marin Sketchers. There will be more to come at some great places in the county. Suggestions for other locations are welcome.
