Join us for an exciting night of Pickleball and speed dating at Brewers Hill Club Volo in Baltimore! This event is specifically for 30-40ish singles who are looking to meet new people while enjoying some friendly competition and fun. Ticketing at www.shalomsocialclub.com

Event Breakdown:

• Pickleball & Organized Speed Dating: 5:00 - 7:00 PM
• Singles Social Hour: 7:00 - 8:00 PM
  Come ready to play pickleball with a twist and connect with others through fun, interactive games. Afterward, we’ll have an open happy hour for people to kibbitz in a relaxed, unstructured format.

Tickets:

• $28 per person
• $50 for a male/female pair (bring a friend!)

Important Info:

• Minimum to run: 24 participants (12 men, 12 women)
• Maximum capacity: 48 people
• Rain Date: Sunday, May 4th, 1:30 - 4:30 PM

This event is our first speed dating event, and we're keeping it to men and women for now. Future events will be more inclusive of different age ranges and LGBTQ+ participants.

Matthew Paul Miller is better known by the stage name Matisyahu. He is an American singer, rapper, beatboxer, and musician. Best known for blending spiritual themes with reggae, rock and hip hop beatboxing sounds, Matisyahu is famous for songs such as One Day and King Without a Crown. Since 2004 he has released seven studio albums as well as five live albums, two remix CDs and two DVDs featuring live concerts.

Tickets cost $52/person. Your RSVP is a commitment to a ticket. Once you RSVP and pay through MeetUp, a ticket will be transferred directly to you so make sure your phone number and email are correct.

Regarding carpooling: We will arrange for carpooling to DC when the day gets closer. Meeting place and time TBD.
Expectations are that each passenger will compensate drivers fairly for gas, and drivers will use only insured vehicles under the legal limit. Drivers and passengers are welcome to divide driving, we just ask that everyone makes safe choices.

Here is a suggested itinerary for the day, but specifics will depend upon the preferences of the group attending:

8:15 a.m.-Meet at Owings Mills Metro Station
8:30-10:00 a.m.-Travel to Hershey, PA
10:00-11:00 a.m.-Visit and Breakfast at Hershey's Chocolate World
11:00-7:00 p.m.-Time in Hersheypark
7:00-7:30 p.m.-End of Day Visit to Hershey's Chocolate World
7:30-9:00 p.m.-Dinner at Cocoa Diner in Hummelstown
9:00-10:30 p.m.-Travel to Owings Mills, MD
10:30-Arrive at Owings Mills Metro Station

Meeting Place: Park in the Parking Garage in Owings Mills Metro Centre across from the Baltimore County Public Library Owings Mills Branch and behind World of Beer. We will be meeting at the main floor entrance to the garage at this location.

Please note: Depending on the number of people attending, we may take more than one car on the trip. All attendees should contribute money toward gas for drivers and will need to buy tickets for park entry.

As a season pass holder, Jeff can get attendees discounted park tickets at 35% off if you buy tickets that day. There are also several online discounts for park tickets.

We will need a minimum of three additional attendees to hold this event. Please RSVP no later than Sunday, June 1st.
