Join community leaders, planners, advocates, and neighbors for a high-energy day focused on building safer, more connected places to bike and walk across our region. The Shenandoah Valley Bike–Walk Summit brings together health, education, business, and local government voices to turn ideas into action for trails, sidewalks, greenways, and complete streets.

• Local case studies—from pop-up projects to permanent infrastructure
• Hands-on networking with decision-makers, engineers, and everyday riders and walkers
• A showcase of regional trail and greenway plans, with ways to plug in
• Optional mobile tour to see recent projects and future connections

Join our Bikes for Neighbors Coordinator, Ben Wyse for a private tour of the shop where he fixes up the bikes. The program works to increase personal freedom and mobility with the help of bicycles.

We will be having treats and coffee in the morning, and feel free to BYO for lunch!

This is a chance to see the shop, catch up with Ben to learn more about the program, how you can help, and what it takes to fix up a bike that will be used as a daily commuter and often kept out in the elements.

Ben started full time with the Coalition in May 2024 to lead the Bikes for Neighbors program. As we work to grow the program's impact and reach more people, we're eager to connect with you our community of supporters who care about helping more people use bicycles for transportation.
