Anyone interested in hiking, biking, backpacking, kayaking, or other outdoor activities in Alabama should join this Meetup : ) Sierra Club Alabama Chapter offers a host of outdoor opportunities for with an added element of mindfulness and conservation. We strive to ensure there is something for everyone.
Sierra Club's mission is to explore and protect the planet. We practice and promote the responsible use of the earth's ecosystems and natural resources. All Outings Leaders with Sierra Club are First Aid/CPR certified.
Join us and learn why Alabama is so special and its conservation is so important! Supporting Sierra Club's outings means more than enjoying the wild outdoors. It also means understanding why we must protect what we enjoy!

See all- Monte Sano Preserve HikeLand Trust Trailhead Parking, Huntsville, AL
We will hike the upper most part of the Land Trust property going up Toll Gate and the length of High Trail before returning on Bluff Line Trail. Moderate and about 4 miles in length. Wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather. Hiking poles and snacks if needed and plenty of water.
