What we’re about
This group was started to create a great community in the Bucks and Berks areas. Attending our events is a great way to make new sociable friends and to maybe even meet that someone special along the way if you're currently single. However the events are open to everyone and you don't need to be single to join.
You will also see events listed on our Meet Up put on by Kevin from Walk & Explore and Toyin from Get a Social Life who puts up some interesting events also not within the area such as holidays abroad, weekend breaks and some very classy events in London.

NEED MEN! Dining Speed Dating 30+ (all ages) Sat Nov 8th in Marlow
ONLY NEED MEN TO BALANCE!! We have a magnificent venue for our November event and the dining speed dating will be open to 30+ covering all ages.
The events manager at the venue approached us as they say they have members saying they are lonely so they are also wishing to help these members which is very commendable of them.
We will have 8 tables of 6 sitting man, woman, man, woman. Arrival will be 6.45pm to check in collect a drink and be ready to sit at 7.15pm when the food will be served to the tables. This will be buffet style on sharing platters:
-chicken satay skewers
- lamb kofta kebabs
- samosas & onion bhajis
- assorted sandwiches
-fruit platter
Tickets are £29.50 direct (or £32.50 via the link on our website https://www.single-and-social-bucks.co.uk ).

Just to say that the 24 female places will book very quickly for this event.
I'd imagine that even the male places will book fairly fast too.
Please be aware that it it will be smart dress code only as even the venue ask for this dress code. It is now going to be the dress code for all of our dining speed dating events as it would be nice to see the men making the effort too and not just the ladies.
Minimum dress code for men will be a suit style shirt (no polo tops or t-shirts) and smart trousers (no jeans) plus smart shoes (no trainers).
Ladies you can dress up as much as you like as you won't feel overdressed at this lovely venue.

Halloween Party for 35s to 65s Fri Oct 31st at Royal Ascot Golf Club
Royal Ascot Golf Club, Winkfield Road, Ascot, GBWhether you are single, a couple or a group, you will find a warm & friendly welcome. Brighten up your social life & come along to Dance Parties' Halloween Event on Oct 31st with our group.
We will meet at the entrance to the venue or just inside in the hallway at 8.30pm opening time. We can wait for 15 minutes but will go inside if you haven't arrived by then. When inside I can update the event as to where our group are inside the venue which I will need to do by posting on this event info.
I guess you could dress up for this event in the Halloween theme if you wish (or not if you don't wish to of course).
Please text me on 07948 417416 if you are booking with your full name and area you live. That way you could then text me on the evening if you are not coming so we won't be be waiting for you and we know when everyone has arrived with our group.

I believe you can cash pay on the door but the fee is more that way. It needs to be cash as they don't take cards I understand.Hope to see you all soon for a fun evening.
