BE AWARE, not by design, but by happenstance, this group has become mostly a 40+ group (more like 50+ but I don't want to dissuade anyone).
We are Dave and Scott, we have been together for 25 years and enjoy meeting new people and experiencing new things. We migrated from California to the East Coast back in 2004, then back again to the West Coast in 2018, arriving in Vancouver, WA.
We have hosted many Meetup groups in the past, specifically a "couples" group, but this time around we wanted to give way to everyone, singles, as well as, couples. We would also like to be diverse and include everyone no matter sexual orientation.
We plan on organizing events for food, walking, movies, game days/nights, and home events, both in Vancouver and Portland! PLEASE keep in mind to participate in a home event you must have gone to at least one non-home event prior.
NOTE*****
In this group we value quality (meaning participation) over quantity. A group having 5,000 members and only 1% participation isn’t much to scream about, but a group of 100 with 30% participation is worth the effort.
That being said, If you would like to be part of this group and participate, please sign into the group every few months. If 3 months have passed and you have not signed in you will be removed. This will help ensure a tighter group with maximum participation.
