Welcome to Singles in the DMV!

Are you single and frustrated with dating apps and the time consumption of swiping? Missing that 1:1 connection?

So are we!

Come join us in the journey of fun conversations, events and adventures as we will be hosting in person singles events in the DMV.

This group is for singles 30s and up.

Rules of engagement:

Safety:
Be aware of your surroundings and report any concerns to the organizers.

Feedback:
Provide constructive feedback to the organizers after the meetup to help improve future events.

These rules help create a respectful and safe environment where participants can enjoy meeting new people without feeling pressured or uncomfortable.

Continuing our exploration of walks around Columbia and moving it to the weekend since sun goes down earlier now.

Lets meet at Lake Kittamaqundi (Lakefront in Columbia) right next to Whole Foods. We will meet right next to Whole Foods where you can get some coffee or tea before or after the walk. The walk is about 1.4 miles.

It will likely be a bit chilly in the morning so bundle up. Lets start our Sunday off with making connections and good conversations.

Let’s celebrate the Halloween and fall season at historic Savage Mill in the Laurel/Jessup area with a historic ghost tour. Tickets are $20 and MUST be purchased in advance. We found out when buying a ticket online, type SHOPOEC in the coupon code box when paying and you get $5 off the price so the ticket costs $15 instead of $20.

So you would have to buy the ticket and then RSVP with our group also. You wont be able to get in without a ticket and they tend to sell out fast.

Tickets can be purchased on the link below and just click on date of event (Nov 1) to get tickets for the Haunted Savage Mill Ghost Tour.

This is a historic site that used to be an old yard factory over a hundred years ago. It is a fascinating place for anyone interested in history and provides details on how the workers and the factory operated many years ago, all within the actual original building.

The tour is partly inside and outside so dress accordingly. The tour starts at 8:00 pm and is 1.5 hours long, but we can meet around 7pm at one of the bars in the Savage Mill building to get some liquid courage for anyone who wants to come early.
