Welcome to Sketchy Collective, a relaxed and social drawing group for anyone who enjoys sketching or just wants to try it out!
No experience needed — just bring a pencil and some paper.
We meet every Sunday at 15:00 in Töölönlahti Park, with Oodi Library as a backup location in case of bad weather. Whether it's sunny or rainy, we’ll be there, and if the weather turns, we’ll head inside to Oodi to keep the session going.
Here’s how it works: at each meetup, attendees take turns being the model for a quick 10-minute sketch session. While one person sits, everyone else draws them. Then we rotate! It’s a fun, low-pressure way to practice drawing people and connect with others face-to-face.

Pencils and paper (or any sketching tools you prefer)
No fees, no pressure. The only contribution we ask is that everyone takes a turn being a model for the group. This event is all about helping each other practice drawing, so please be ready to pose when it's your turn. You can sit however you’re most comfortable, and the 10 minutes go by quickly. Feel free to draw as much as you like, skip a round if you’re tired or just want to chat, and leave whenever it suits you. The event continues as long as there’s interest.
