What we’re about
We are an activity-centered social club with a special emphasis on skiing. We sponsor local, Western, and European ski trips, and we have all sorts of other activities like bike rides, canoe and kayak events, or just getting together for a local tavern night. MUST BE 21 YEARS OR OLDER TO JOIN ANY EVENTS.
Be respectful to the event host if you are not coming, please remove your name from the list of attendees.
As a condition for participants on these events:
1. I accept the rules and regulations as shown on the Event Responsibility and Policies pages.
2. The Skiwi Ski and Social Club and its members individually and/or collectively shall not be held liable for any personal injury or property loss whatsoever.
3. The Skiwi Ski and Social Club through its officers and designated chairpersons shall hold authority on the event. Any person who engages in inappropriate conduct may be removed from the event and held fully responsible for all costs incurred as a direct result of their removal.

Apple Maps – 4015 Michigan Ave, Detroit MIDescription: Free Bikes 4 Kidz is a nonprofit organization geared toward helping all kids ride into a happier, healthier childhood by providing bikes to those most in need. In 2023 they collected, refurbished and distributed over 2,000 bikes, along with new helmets, to under-resourced kids in our community. Thank you Detroit for helping us change the lives of so many local children!
There are 2 volunteer categories
1- Preppers (must know how to change a tire)
2- Cleaners (making the bikes clean and shiny for the kids)Please contact Kathy J by November 4th at kathyh517@yahoo.com with questions and to confirm your spot and sign a waiver. Let her know if you want to be a Prepper or a Cleaner.
