The Pond Walk is a 2.9 miles of an unpaved carriage road. This a a beautiful hike for you and your pups. The only area of the park where dogs may be let off leash is in the SIGNED field across from the Smith Farmhouse and MUST be under voice control.

Borderland State Park is one of Massachusetts's properties that charges a day use fee. When you park in the main parking area, you'll go by a ticket machine. The day use fee is $5.00 for MA residents ($20 for out of state visitors). If you choose to park anywhere else, display the ticket on your dashboard. We will meet in front of the visitor center to start our hike.

I can meet anyone outside the park to save a fee, I have a parking pass for MA Parks.

The layout features five walking trails, ranging from just under a quarter-mile to a mile-and-a-half long.

The dog park has fenced-off areas with a surface of wood chips and structures for canines large and small to climb on. Rules are prominently posted reminding owners to — among other things — clean up after their pets.

This is a great place to take a hike and let the pups socialize afterwards in a great small dog park. I have included a copy of the map of the park.
