What we’re about

Small and Medium size pups love to make friends and play. This will be a group that will have meetups in different venues. This can range from parks, dog events, breweries, indoor play groups and others fun spots. We ask you to keep the pup size to 30 pounds and smaller. Thanks.

The layout features five walking trails, ranging from just under a quarter-mile to a mile-and-a-half long.

The dog park has fenced-off areas with a surface of wood chips and structures for canines large and small to climb on. Rules are prominently posted reminding owners to — among other things — clean up after their pets.

This is a great place to take a hike and let the pups socialize afterwards in a great small dog park. I have included a copy of the map of the park.

The Pond Walk is a 2.9 miles of an unpaved carriage road. This a a beautiful hike for you and your pups. The only area of the park where dogs may be let off leash is in the SIGNED field across from the Smith Farmhouse and MUST be under voice control.

Please bring water for you and your dog.

Borderland State Park is one of Massachusetts's properties that charges a day use fee. When you park in the main parking area, you'll go by a ticket machine. The day use fee is $5.00 for MA residents ($20 for out of state visitors). If you choose to park anywhere else, display the ticket on your dashboard. We will meet in front of the visitor center to start our hike.

I can meet anyone outside the park to save a fee, I have a parking pass for MA Parks.

Bring Fido to this fun event featuring vendors, non-profits, raffles, photo contests, live entertainment, food trucks, a cookie bake-off, a canine peanut butter lick-off contest and more!

The VENDORS will items that range from candles to jewelry to pet items and everything in between.

NON-PROFITS who will be on hand to share their missions and programs with the public. Consider supporting these worthwhile causes while you have the opportunity to chat with them in person.

Adult tickets price is not available yet. Your ticket includes admission for you and your pup(s). All proceeds will be donated to Animal Rescue League, an organization based in Dedham that lends unwavering support to local animals, families, and neighborhoods by providing veterinary care, adoption, and field services.
This event will take place in front of JP Licks.
