I missed the first week, can I still attend week x? Yes, any week is a good week to learn and practice.
I am taking another beginner's volleyball class; can I attend this one? Yes
I am more advanced than a beginner; can I attend week x? Yes, come and practice at whatever you are weak in.
Can I bring a friend? Yes
Can I come even if I don't have a ball? Yes, but we recommend a ball so you can use it while you are here, and you practice with your ball.
Why is it called 10x instead of 101? Every time we teach a cycle of 4 weeks, we rename the class to 10x+1 to keep track of how many classes the host has done this year. Resets every year.
- Doubles Volleyball - Competitive BB+/A LevelBluemont Park Disc Golf Course, Arlington, VA
Let's get together to play some competitive coed doubles volleyball.
COST: FREE
Court Type: Outdoor grass
Skill Requirements:
Minimum skill level to attend is BB with strong passing skill (If you are a BB player, make sure you are comfortable playing against A/AA players)Attention:
- This event is NOT on a first come-first serve basis and players with higher skill level and players who can bring a net/ball will get priority over others on the wait list.
- Please note that some attendees may not meet the expected skill requirements as we rely on self-reported skill level and this is a competitive event where winning matters, so we strongly encourage higher-skilled players to team up together and try to win every games in this event and become the champions of the day.
- Each person must help set up and take down one net but avoid helping with more as some nets should be left unset for those arriving late to set.
