What we’re about

This group is for runners in the West End and Coal Harbour areas who are interested in social runs and / or up to Half Marathon preparation. Whether you are a seasoned runner looking to train with a group or a starter looking for motivation and tips, this meetup is for you!

We are a very social group and end our LSD (Long Slow Distance) Sunday Morning Runs often at a different Coffee shop in the West End / Coal Harbour to enjoy the variety of delicious coffee served in this area. We usually form different pace groups. We mostly cover the a range from about 6 - 8 minutes per kilometre. (9.6 - 12.9 minutes per mile). Most of the runs are from 60 - 100 minutes with some longer sessions but we always know a short cut or an add on if you prefer.

On Tuesday Evening we are having fun with different running workouts that work on our technique and bring up the heart rate to become faster. This work out is designed that we can all train together no matter of your speed. People in the group find this the most rewarding session.

We support each other in achieving our half marathon or other running goals. Lace up your shoes and join us as we work towards improving our endurance and overall running performance together!

Sunday: 8:30 AM (usually 60 - 100 minutes)
Our Meeting Point is in front of Starbucks at Corner Denman & Robson

Tuestday : 6 PM (60-75 minutes including warmups)
Our meeting point is in front of the Coal Harbour Community Center on the stairs to the seawall (480 Broughton Street).
