Hello all.... “Sober Slice” is a new meet up group that welcomes all with open arms. It’s not specific to singles and hopes to attract people from all corners of the world. The idea behind the group’s formation is that you can enjoy life in Ireland with like minded people, doing fun things that don’t necessarily revolve around drink or a pub. The group doesn't exclude people who like a drink BTW. There are a huge variety of events / activities happening in Ireland, and it can be made all the more enjoyable as part of a welcoming, friendly group. Activities / events in this group include live gigs, hill walks, language exchange, simple afternoon coffee, browsing markets and many, many more. This group will allow you to make new friends and enjoy the craic without the dreaded hangover the next day. Whether you’re a Mario Kart veteran or new to the tracks, this weekly event is your chance to race, compete, and have a blast with fellow fans. We’re bringing together all versions of Mario Kart for a tournament that’s as thrilling as it is fun!
But that’s not all—our event isn’t just about who’s fastest on the track. You can also earn extra points by taking on a variety of wild and wacky Mario Kart-themed challenges. These challenges range from easy to difficult, ensuring everyone has a shot at victory, even if your driving skills aren’t quite up to speed!
What to Expect:
- Weekly Mario Kart Tournament: Compete in exciting races across all the Mario Kart games we have to offer. Battle it out for the top spot and see your name climb the leaderboard!
- Fun Challenges for Extra Points: Take on themed challenges to boost your score. Whether it’s a quick Mario-themed trivia, balancing a banana, or mimicking the Luigi Death Stare, there’s something for everyone.
- Team & Solo Challenges: Whether you prefer to go it alone or team up with friends, our event includes both solo and team-based challenges that add an extra layer of fun and competition.
- Prizes and Glory: Win points not just for speed but for creativity, knowledge, and skill. Top players and teams will be crowned the champions of the night and take home bragging rights (and maybe a prize or two)!
