Tuesday Southern Walnut Creek Trail Ride
Govalle Neighborhood Park, 5200 Bolm Rd, Austin, TX, US
Bring your bike, water bottle, charged bike lights, and a friend to the Southern Walnut Creek Trail Ride (SWCT) now back on TUESDAY nights! This is a \~ 20-mile paved trail ride with a pace of about 10-12 mph and up. We meet at the Govalle Park parking lot and wheels down is 7:15pm. End spot socializing at an east side bar. Social Cycling Austin rides AS traffic and NOT AGAINST it. We stop at red lights, yield the right of way and let cars pass as best we can. We don't block intersections. We are nice to both our fellow riders and the other traffic on the road. LISTEN TO the volunteers helping to lead the ride. They are some nice folks and have your best interest in mind. Thursday Night Social Ride

The Thursday Night Social Ride (#ThursdayNightSocialRide) is a very casual cruise around town with anywhere from 150-250 cyclists attending every week! The pace is social (easy). Typically, we ride to various locations where we socialize, swim (depending on season), play games or just hang out. We then ride some more before arriving at one of our many generous host bars that supply our riders with hospitality and good times. We meet at the same spot every week, with the mid and end varying. Saturday Morning Caffeine Cruise

The Saturday Morning Caffeine Cruise (#SaturdayMorningCaffeineCruise #SMCC) meets at a coffee shop then we ride and stop at a few places for food, drinks, and sometimes swimming. We do farmers’ markets, swap meets, parades, awesome Austin landmarks, and other cool things that make Saturdays more fun. The pace is social and the group size is fairly small, which makes this a great ride for beginners and for meeting people. Social Cycling Austin is in the holiday spirit this month. Sunday Bike Curious Ride

#SundaybikecuriousRide Grab your bike and a scary looking stranger you see on your way and join us as we ride bikes around Austin briefly viewing art in public place on our quiet streets and trails every Sunday evening. We visit parks, parking garages, bakeries, and convenient stores as we ride around appreciating art. We typically ride about 10-15 miles, not too many hills, but you never know. Note that this ride is a no drop ride, meaning everyone sticks together and no one gets left behind. All skill levels are welcome.
