What we’re about
We believe that the best way to enjoy meetup activities is to break them down into individual experiences. Our goal is to encourage you to savour the adventure that resonates with you. We work with the mindset that you should treat yourselves to an experience of not overindulging but savouring the moments. Each event is like a tasting menu that keeps you coming back for more.
WHY
We believe that everyone should feel comfortable being their true selves when they’re with us. Our events are designed to help you discover what speaks to you and motivate you to be active and inquisitive. We hope to inspire you to re-examine what it means to have a meaningful event experience.
How
Each event is divided into two categories: content and experience. We celebrate underdogs in our content category, those who have amazing stories that you would never expect.
Our experience category is all about style and variety. We use a range of activities to get you to engage in unexpected ways. You never know what you’ll discover!
The common thread of all our events is passion. We believe that people are most attracted to an infectious passion.
There is a membership fee of $6 per month. There is also a 90-day or 3-month trial period for trying out the group’s activities. You can also request a refund through Meetup afterward.
The trial period allows you to see the value of your membership and the benefits of active participation within the group.
So come join us and let’s explore together!

See all- Trad Fest: Three's a Crowd - free eventO'Riordans , Dublin
Let's check out Three's a Crowd to kick off TradFest this year!
According to the TradFest site:
Three's A Crowd are a three piece band from North Kerry. Made up of Sean Enright, Kieran Mackessy and Adam Finucane, Three’s A Crowd are passionate about sharing their love of Irish traditional and folk music whether it be in their local pub or on Tik Tok to an international audience.
Accordion Kieran is a master of the accordion and bodhran, competing and winning at all Ireland level. He lives and breathes from the lungs of the accordion, taking a break only to play for both Finuge, north Kerry rangers and at inter county level for the green and gold. Sean Enright is the lead singer. The only thing deeper than his love for traditional and folk style singing is his love for farming and his community of Tarbert. Adam Finucane of Ballylongford loves to play guitar and writes songs inspired by artists such as Noel Gallagher, Finbar Furey and Shane McGowan.
Here's a cover of Christy Moore's Ordinary Man to give you a taste of their music!
- Trad Fest: Brona Keogh & Niamh Keane - free eventOliver St. John Gogarty, Dublin
Please join me on Friday night to listen to these two amazing singers! I only just heard them in researching TradFest and would love to hear them in person.
According to the TradFest site:
Bróna Keogh is a soulful, indie folk singer from Dublin. Her artistic goal is to have a positive impact on the wellbeing of her listeners by creating a safe space where people can connect with themselves and others on a deeper level. Singing with an intuitive Irish lilt, Brona has a grá for traditional music but also takes inspiration from r&b, neo-soul, americana, folk, jazz, pop and blues. Here are a couple of her songs to give you an idea of her style: Love is Just a Muse and Please.
Niamh Keane is a singer-songwriter, violinist, guitarist and pianist from Clondalkin, Co. Dublin. Her original music is acoustic folk and spotlights her voice. 2023 saw the release of her first single in two years titled 'Imprints'; a song that bares the soul and the impressions that loved ones leave on your life. Keane's influences include Madison Cunningham and Declan O'Rourke and she is inspired to write emotive and melodic songs that weave stories and beautiful sonic arrangements. Here's Niamh singing Grace and this one is Linger in Irish.
