Looking for like-minded people to share conversations and fun times together. Must be single, politically progressive or liberal, (most often a Democratic voter,) open-minded and of a certain age (IYKYK ... but around 50+ or older would fit the purpose of this group.) Let’s get together socially, knowing we share similar aspirations for our communities and our country!

Day of the Dead @Museum of KC

The Museum of Kansas City is holding its 12th annual Día de los Muertos celebration of the history and cultural traditions of Mexico:- Live music by Mariachi Estrella KC
- Puppetry by Stone Lion Puppet Theatre
- Live dance performances by Grupo Folklorico Izcalli
- Bring a note or small item to add to the indoor or outdoor community altars to remember someone who passed away (items placed at the altar will not be returned).
Tickets required: buy here "Pay What You Like" (totally your discretion) sold in sets of 2 (2, 4, 6)
Bring a lawn chair or blanket. There are food trucks - I'm planning to arrive when the event starts at 5pm, to get food and a drink early, before the lines get long.
