What we’re about
This is a pickup soccer group for intermediate and experienced players. We are here to make friends, enjoy soccer, and have fun. To join this group you have to meet the following criteria:
1. Are you intermediate or above
2. Referred by someone from our group.
Some rules and small print for this group when playing:
1. You play at your own risk. When you sign up for this group, Somerset County Futbol group and it's organizers are not liable for any injuries related to game play.
2. If you RSVP, please dont do a no-show. Penalty for this is a yellow card (2 game ban). If you cant come just un-RSVP so that at least someone else can take your spot. If something happens in the morning then please let the organizer know.
3. No crazy tackling - be considerate.
4. Pass the ball. Noone likes a greedy dribbler.
5. Respect everyone. Enjoy it. Help others enjoy it. This means "NO FIGHTING"
As mentioned above, we expect players to be intermediate to experienced players. Our definition of intermediate are the following:
1. Understand the game of futbol/soccer
2 Able to play a full game of 90 minutes plus. We usually play for the full 2 hours. We do not have substitutions
3. Know the basic rules of the game
4. Know the positions and understand spacing.
