Sonoma Community Center Events

The Sonoma Community Center is in partnership with Refill Madness to bring the largest biannual clothing swap in Sonoma Valley! This year, we're also partnering with the Reuse Alliance and Operation Bicycle to offer the first Repair Fair on site. This is a FREE, community event! Fashion creates about 10% of greenhouse gas emissions per year, plus tons of landfill waste. Swapping clothes is an easy way to reduce our carbon footprint. Plus, you can get free clothes and find a new home for things you don’t wear or want anymore.

Volunteers and specialized repair professionals will be on-hand to repair* your items. We ask that you stay with your item while it’s being fixed, so you can learn tips for future maintenance, how to shop for repairable goods, and even how to repair things yourself!

Donation Details: Drop off clothing for all ages and genders to Refill Madness (500 West Napa Street, Suite 540)
Drop off dates/time: Monday, May 12 – Friday, May 15 during business hours only (Mon: 10am-2pm, Tuesday – Friday: 10am-5:30pm)

CLEAN AND GOOD CONDITION CLOTHING ONLY - No underwear please! Clothing, shoes, and accessories of all sizes, genders, and styles will be warmly welcomed; dirty, damaged, stained, or heavily worn items will not be accepted. Please pre-sort clothing if possible. ***No donations will be accepted the day of the event. ***

Clothing Swap info: Browse the "Clothing Shop” area in the front garden of the Sonoma Community Center. Bring your reusable bag and fill it up!

Repair Fair info: *If you’d like to bring an item to repair, please register the item *here (Pre-registering allows us to prepare for your item*)

*We cannot guarantee your item(s) will be repaired, depending on the existing damage or breakage, ability of volunteer fixers, and availability of materials for repair. Bicycle repair info: Operation Bicycle is a community bike shop run by adult and teen staff as well as volunteers. We refurbish used bicycles for sale, provide maintenance and repair services for the public, and sell new and used parts and accessories. We’re a full-service bike shop where teens learn valuable mechanical and customer service skills. Learn more about Operational Bicycle’s mission and services here
