Soulful Sanctuary: Healing Events, Classes, & Clinics

Join Zhora for Restorative Yoga to ease the mind and soothe the body.

In this 90-minute session, we will hold a series of gentle yoga postures to relax the muscles/tissues of the body. Utilizing various cushions and props will allow us to feel comfortable, and applying our breath intentionally can ensure presence as we move. Restorative Yoga can help reduce/manage stress both in the body and mind, as well as assist in muscle recovery.

Take time to slow down at the end of your day and nourish your body with soft movement.

*Wear comfortable, breathable clothing that you can move and relax in
*Bring a mat, maybe even a blanket for added comfort

About the Instructor
Zhora is a 400HR certified yoga instructor in both Vinyasa and Hatha yoga, with a passion for Yin and Restorative classes. After years of chasing the fire of high intensity exercise, learning to slow down and deepen the connection between mind and body is a lesson she wants to share!

Come explore the power form of hands-on healing used by martial arts masters for centuries. It is unlike anything you've ever encountered before.
If you are new to earth-based energy healing, this is where you want to begin!

This event is for those new to the methods of Motoki and it will provide you with a powerful example of its practical applications in every-day life. You will practice power forms of grounding, deflecting, and projecting energy (for healing).

After the skills session, we will open it up for discussion and demonstration of energy manipulation in relation to intuitive work as well as healing methods. Your time will be well spent. The goal of this session is to have you walk away with several useful skills, and the ability to run basic healing energy.

New for Summer/Fall 2025:
We will be offering a series of free Intro to Motoki classes in Summer/Fall 2025. Motoki I and II are now offered on a rotating, ongoing basis throughout the year. If you've been waiting to get involved, now's the time!

About the Instructors
Brian Rainie has achieved Master level in both Motoki Martial Arts and Healing Arts. He received a California Teaching Credential for Adult Education, taught classes in the corporate environment for 20 years, focuses on methods that honor each student’s unique learning style, and believes classroom safety is the #1 priority. He has 45 years of energy work experience and has been actively teaching for over 30 years. He is on the board of directors of both the Han Moo Kwan Association as well as the Moto-Ki Association. He is a certified Reiki Master, as well as holding ranks in multiple martial art forms. His specialty is energy-based power methods (MotoKi). Your experience of his techniques will be anything but "subtle". His desire is to provide training to the more logical/practical individual, an audience which is often ignored.

Michelle Husain is a Reiki Master, Motoki Instructor, and trained intuitive who has been guiding kids, teens, and adults in hands-on education for the past 15 years. Experienced as a school psychologist, she facilitates groups like this one with a respectful, humor-filled touch. Teaching others how to live better and use their natural talents is a lifelong passion! Michelle is the owner of Note to Self Healing and Soulful Sanctuary.

Come and practice exchanging intuitive readings with other people like you in a supportive, no-pressure environment. We'll start with a grounding meditation, meet others in the group, and then pair off for 15-20 minute readings. This is a casual, fun event where you can practice and develop your skills, no matter how long it's been since you last used them! You may find that you are even able to expand your methods as you learn from others. All forms of reading are welcome- tarot cards, pendulum, no-tools, etc.

This is an "open house" session that will not include formal training, so you can come and go as your please. If you'd like to be part of the opening meditation, plan to arrive around 3:00 p.m. Folks who arrive once the meditation has begun are respectfully asked to wait outside until the door is reopened.
