Meetup Groups have been coming Soul Joel Productions’ comedy shows for over 12 years. The response has been so overwhelming that Joel decided to start his own meetup group to bring the comedy directly to you!
Back in November of 2019, Joel Richardson finally opened his own club SoulJoel's Comedy Club and Lounge in Royersford, PA. Overlooking the Schuklhill River.

THE DUPREES have entertained audiences who love their unique and romantic sound for more than six decades. They have made careers out of giving new life to the big band standards and contemporary hits. With their romantic interpretations of some of the most beautiful love songs ever written the Duprees are truly honored to be known as “New Jersey’s Ambassadors of Love Songs” and one of America’s favorite vocal groups. Tommy Petillo, Jimmy Spinelli and Shawn Stevens active today clearly show their dedication and passion for the type of music that started on a New Jersey street corner and grew to something both classic and ultimately timeless. Since 1978 when the original members selected him as their lead singer Tommy’s dynamic vocals have embodied the heart**,** soul and true essence of voice carrying a tradition of classic and timeless love songs. He has with great pride continued the legacy of the Duprees songbook for more than 52 years of stage performances. Jimmy joined The Duprees lineup in 1991 and he is a proud evolution from the original members. The consummate professional Jimmy brings an energetic presence to the stage that is unsurpassed with his own brand of showmanship, vocal style and dance thrilling audiences wherever he performs. A Former member of “Vito & The Salutations**”** Jimmy has been entertaining audiences all his life. Shawn’s professional career began as a child actor, appearing in dozens of stage musicals, television productions and feature film projects, receiving accolades and awards for his efforts. He has performed with the legendary Doo Wop groups “The Diamonds**”** and, most recently, “The Vogues“. Now in 2023, a member of The Duprees, Shawn says “it doesn’t get any better than this! As always, we recognize, celebrate and honor the music that captured everyone’s hearts over a half century ago. Although members have changed throughout the years, the singing group stayed in touch with their east coast roots and dedication to bringing favorite classics in an updated style. About Sean:
Originally from New Orleans, Sean Patton is a comedian, actor, writer and storyteller based in New York City.
As a stand-up, Sean has appeared at The Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Sydney International Comedy Festival, JFL Chicago, JFL Toronto, JFL Montreal (2008, 2010, 2012, 2016, 2018), SF Sketchfest, Moontower Comedy Festival, RIOT LA, High Plains Festival, SXSW, Outsidelands, Dublin Comedy Festival, New York Comedy Festival, Bonnaroo and the Nashville Comedy Festival. He premiered his critically acclaimed show NUMBER ONE at The Pleasance Theatre at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2017 and returned in 2019 with his show CONTRADICKHEAD at The Gilded Balloon.
His second album ‘Scuttlebutt’ was released December 2019, and his third album ‘King Scorpio’ was released in December 2021. Sean’s first hour special NUMBER ONE, Executive Produced by Michael Che, premiered on Peacock in December 2022. The ‘Number One’ album was released in summer of the following year.
In 2023 Sean accompanied David Cross on his ‘Worst Daddy in the World’ world tour spanning 66 Cities, 6 Countries and 2 Continents. He is set to hit the road with David again as part of his 2024 ‘The End of the Beginning of the End’ world tour. Most recently, Sean completed production on the series pilot NIGHT TRIPPIN’ which he co-created, produced and starred in.
Sean has appeared on Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Conan (2011, 2013) and The Tonight Show (2022). His Comedy Central Half Hour and debut album were released in 2013. Additionally, he can be seen on @midnight (2014, 2015), The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail, This Is Not Happening (2015, 2016, 2017, 2019), What’s Your F@#king Deal?! and Viceland’s Flophouse and Party Legends. On screen, he can be seen on IFC’s Maron, Comedy Central’s Inside Amy Schumer, and TruTV’s Those Who Can’t.
Sean co-stars in the new FX comedy series ENGLISH TEACHER alongside Brian Jordan Alvarez, Stephanie Koenig and Enrico Colantoni which premieres this Fall.
