We're a fun & friendly group that enjoys a variety of activities. We have regular meetups for going to the beach, hiking, bowling, tennis, volunteering. There are also meetups for softball, working-out, house parties, dancing, happy hours, ice skating, movie nights, kickball, game nights, volleyball, frisbee, eating out, the list goes on and on! Everyone strives to be friendly and welcoming at our events, so you'll have a lot of fun when you come out for an activity. See you out there!

Lace up your walking shoes and join the South Bay Indoor/Outdoor Activities Group for a refreshing and scenic walk in the residential neighborhood to/in/from Elizabeth Gamble Garden (FREE admission) to enjoy fall blooms and colors and a delightful optional lunch in midtown Palo Alto after the walk! Meet up with fellow walkers, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy an optional after-walk social/lunch.
Whether you are an avid walker or just starting, this social event is open to all skill levels. Make new friends, enjoy the fall garden delights, and unwind in the great outdoors.
Optional Lunch @1pm: After the walk, we can go check out Farmer's market and also join an optional group lunch at one of the many eateries in midtown Palo Alto.
HOW TO MEET UP:
Meet up with the group on the right side (with tables and chairs) of the Mollie Stone's Market entrance at 11 AM, We will gather in a circle and introduce ourselves at 11:05 AM before the walk.

Hello Friends
Since April 20th is Easter Sunday, we're scheduling this to an evening hike to allow people time to attend church and spend the morning with friends and family.
Approx. 5.5 miles, 961 ft elevation, moderate route. If you are not confident about doing a 5.5 mile hike with this elevation and some rocky terrain in 2 hours 45 minutes, then you may not be able to keep up and it is not fair on the group to have to wait.
Arrive early or best carpool as parking is limited, If car park is full additional parking can be found on residential Gold Creek Way.
Let's start our hike from the Mockingbird Hill entrance, which has the best facilities of all the parkโs entrances.
It's a loop hike that will take us past some mining sites and then back to our starting point on the single-track New Almaden Trail.
Start time is 04:00 and we should be done around 6:45pm.

Explore this 5.5-mile loop trail near New Almaden, California. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 2 h 45 min to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking, horseback riding, and running, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime.
