What we’re about
A warm welcome to the Looe and South East Cornwall social group.
Our group is primarily aimed at the Looe, Downderry, Liskeard, Millbrook, Polperro, Saltash, Torpoint and surrounding areas as this is predominantly where events will be held but everyone is welcome to join.
We are a friendly welcoming inclusive group of like minded people looking to get out and enjoy more that this beautiful area of the country has to offer. We enjoy meeting like minded people for an occasional breakfast, brunch, Sunday carvery, dinner, a show, a picnic on the beach, arts and crafts or enjoy a good walk with stunning coastal or woodland views. If some or all of this ticks your boxes then come and join us.
Meetup is all about helping people living fuller, healthier, happier lives with our group hoping to achieve friendship or companionship by participating in social events.
Our Members deserve to be treated with respect and kindness. Inconsiderate behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated
Anyone over the age of 25 is very welcome to join our supportive group.
It would be appreciated if you could have a photo of yourself on your profile to help organisers recognise you when attending events.
The meet up organisation charges every group a subscription to belong to their web site which is professionally run and works effectively in managing events and attendees.
After a trial period you will be asked to contribute a couple of pounds to our charges.

We are open to any suggestions you may have for event ideas and would welcome you as an event host.

Everyone is responsible for their own health and safety when attending events especially if you bring your dog on a walk. Organisers are hosting social events for members and do not hold any qualifications or liability insurance. We will describe the events as best as we can but it will be for you to judge if they are appropriate for you to attend as each person is accountable for their own health and safety.
