What we’re about
8/5/2024 --OPEN FOR BUSINESS!
10/24/2024--220+ MEMBERS STRONG!
Who are South Florida Ethnic Foodies (And Pizza Too!)?
1. We're a diverse group of singles and couples who reside in either Palm Beach or Broward counties who get together for the joy of eating, learning, and sharing our travel and eating experiences.
2. We order entrees when we dine together.
3. Sharing our ethnic food with others does not mean we pay more than the price of our purchases.
4. Separate checks will always be issued whether we eat ethnic food or pizza.
5. We leave political and religious discussions to other meetup groups and our friends, neighbors, and family members outside the group.
6. We try to keep our cell phone use to a minimum and focus more on eating and sharing.
7. We happily pay our tab with a reasonable tip for what we've ordered even if we've shared part of our meal with others.
Please note: Those who join the group without a legitimate picture will be removed as spam. In addition, those who join us to promote a product or service by their user name, image, or online/in-event pitches will be removed as annoying, selfish, obnoxious, and oh-so-self-defeating.

Have a concern or question? Then please message me as opposed to broadcasting to our entire group. I’m very hands-on, do not bite (only nip playfully), and will usually get back to you quickly.
We're traveling through the wilds of Palm Beach County and arriving at Tucci's in Boca known best for its wood-fired pizza.
Reviews are tip-top as you might expect.
Your choice of one of many Italian dishes or go for the low-hanging fruit--the pizza!
And of course, this post wouldn't be complete without the pesky group rules:
1. Entrees must be ordered assuming the event isn’t a buffet. Pizza is an entree. Breadsticks are not. (Revised)
2. Political and religious discourse is strongly discouraged.
3. Please show up if you RSVP.
4. Please un-RSVP within 12 hours of the event if you cannot attend.
5. Please try to show up within 15 minutes of the time of the event. Arriving later may disrupt the experience of other members who have arrived on time and begun the ordering process. (New)
6. Please don't message the entire group if you won't be attending an event. Instead, un-RSVP and privately contact those who were expecting you to attend.
7. A "3 strikes and you're out" policy is in effect without exception for repeated no-shows and late cancellations. There will be no reminders to members as to their status. Your action or inaction may deprive a waitlisted member of a place at our table. (Revised)
8. The best efforts will be made to offer you a positive culinary and social experience. Your positivity is necessary to complete the circle of fun. As such, negative words toward myself or other group members whether verbally or through Meetup related to restaurant choices, times chosen, or group policies would be best left unsaid.
9. Being made uncomfortable by a fellow member necessitates changing seats or a mental note not to sit together again. With this said, the group has zero tolerance for harassment. (New) - Vietnamese Food at Pho VN in Boynton - More Than Just Pho!Pho Vn, Boynton Beach, FL

Now....
First Thai, then Hot Pot and now Vietnamese food.
Pho VN is one of the better Vietnamese restaurants in the area with a diverse and very yummy menu.
I know.
I've eaten the menu many times and the paper is spiced just right.
And they offer more than just pho.
I almost forgot --those pesky group rules.

Now.....
Tapas are small, savory Spanish appetizers or snacks that are often served cold or warm and can be combined to make a full meal. The word tapa means "lid" or "cover" in Spanish, and some say the name comes from covering drinks with food to keep debris out. Others say the name comes from the Hussars of Pavia regiment, whose yellow and orange-red combat jackets resembled the dish.
Tapas can include a wide variety of dishes, such as:
- Cold: Mixed olives and cheese
- Warm: Battered and fried baby squid (chopitos), spicy potatoes (patatas bravas), or other deep-fried foods
- Other: Breads and meat, ham, stuffed mussels, sautéed mushrooms, roasted vegetables, rich cheeses, cured meats, and fresh seafood
Today we find ourselves at one of the two best tapas places in Palm Beach County.
Please be mindful of the group rules.

Here's a chance to experiment with Indian food (both veg and non-veg) at a lunch buffet hosted by our esteemed member Alice.
