Welcome to the South Manchester Meetup Group!
I created this group because I noticed a lack of meetup options in South Manchester and wanted to start more events in the area! Events will be diverse and inclusive, ranging from Drinks, coffee mornings, walks and other fun activities.
We value your input, so feel free to suggest any ideas for future meetups.

Welcome to the Font of all Board Games! We meet at The Font, in Chorlton every other Wednesday. We don't charge for this event and there's no need to book. Games start throughout the evening so turn up when it's good for you and we'll fit you in somewhere! If you're new to board games, no worries - we are always happy to meet new people, explain the rules and get you up to speed.
Some games we have played recently: Coup - Concordia - Code Names - Decrypto - War of the Ring - Beyond the Sun - Heat: Pedal to the Metal - Ark Nova - Cryptid - Wingspan - So Clover.
We don't have a games library from which people can borrow, so if you have some favourites think you can teach and bring along, please do. If people don't bring them, we'll have nothing to play!
Finding parking can be tricky on the adjacent streets so I recommend taking a look at Buckingham Road and Clarendon Road W, 2 minutes walk away. There's also paid for parking about 7 minutes walk away next to Chorlton precinct.
Attendance is typically in the 20-50 range. Don't pay too much attention to the number who sign up here. This event is advertised all over Facebook and meetup and many regulars don't sign up anywhere!
