Welcome to the South West Ohio Writer's Club! This group is dedicated to all aspiring writers in the area who have a passion for story telling. Whether you are just starting out or polishing the last pieces of your completed novel, our meetups offer an environment to better explore our ideas and grow as writers. Join us to learn, write, and workshop your pieces with fellow writers. Together, we'll tackle challenges, exchange feedback, and motivate each other to complete anything from short poems to your long awaited fantasy trilogy. The short story prompt this week, if you wish to participate is” A person walks into their home and there is a hole in the middle of the floor’”. Length should be ~500 - 3,000 words to present to the group at the upcoming session.

Working on a poem, short story, or novel? Then join us Saturday as we sit down for Write Away. Here you can workshop your pieces, exchange feedback, or just write away for dedicated time on your project. No matter what you're working on, it provides a productive environment to accomplish your goals with your fellow writers.

We are booked Saturday at the SmallCrimson Cup conference room from 2:00PM-4PM. It will start with a 15 minute meeting to introduce new members and discuss projects. The remaining time will be split into a group to discuss ideas and a group looking for focused writing time. Feel free to divide your time between the two and of course order from the in house coffee shop.
