Southampton Shenanigans

The Shenanigans sub-group: Over 50s Get-together.

Oscar’s over 50s group meets every 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month. for chats, drinks, and food.

This 3rd Thursday event will again take place at The King Canute, in the Ocean Village area of the city. There is plenty of parking in the car park behind the pub (£2.10 after 6pm for the whole evening), and the 19 bus stops right outside. They also do lovely food!

Thursday is Curry night at the canute but there is other food available. The kitchen closes at 9pm so last food orders 8:45.

Let’s do our much-loved walk from ‘On The Water Cafe’ (Weston) to Hamble Marina!

If the weather is good, let’s enjoy an ice cream and a paddle. If not, let’s hit the pub for a drink!!

As always, there will be a toilet and refreshments break for approx. 30 minutes when we reach our midway point, Royal Victoria Country Park, and you are welcome to turn back and go home at this point if you don’t want to carry on to Hamble - it’s usually a 50/50 split!

The route taken to Hamble is variable. We like to mix it up a bit depending on the weather and everyone’s interests and ability, but very likely a trek along the seafront so any dogs taking part in our walk can enjoy off-leash time.

Please note: the hosted event will only be from Weston to Hamble - I don’t always walk back to Weston, sometimes I get the bus or train!

Join us at Tracie’s Latin Club for a cross-cultural celebration with a live DJ, performances and food!

We’ll meet outside the Club at 2pm.
