What we’re about
Finding your tribe for spiritual growth and connection is the purpose of this group. Are you interested in things like Reiki, the energy body/aura, energy protection for empaths, grounding techniques, meditation, manifesting techniques, conscious connected breathwork, sound healing, crystals, tarot, lucid dreaming, mental mediumship and psychic development? Do you enjoy talking to like-minded people about these sorts of things? Would you like to get to know people on all kinds of spiritual paths? Wouldn't it be wonderful to chat in a safe and friendly environment without judgement? Would you like to exchange healing treatments if you are qualified or learn Reiki? There's room for everybody in this friendship group; let's celebrate your uniqueness! Courage takes you forwards and that's where we are going. So take a leap of faith and join our Cambridge social group for the spiritually curious! We will try new things online, offered by me and by our members. Let's see what we can come up with to co-create a playfully curious group of spiritual souls who can gleefully play the game of this human life, offering love and compassion for the self and for the friends we meet along the way, as we unfold our gifts with the support and company of friends who care deeply and want the best for each other.
If you are interested in spiritual self development through reiki training with the emphasis on support and friendship, do look out for courses and Reiki shares in this group. We have Reiki enthusiasts of all levels and training who enjoy sharing healing and learning from each other once a month in a small, informal group organised by Christine, Usui Reiki Master and founder of Untie The String Natural Healing. Christine also offers bespoke training for groups of 2-4 students in Level One: Healer, Level Two: Practitioner and Level Three: Master. The emphasis is on original Japanese methods, with western training also included. There is also a focus on grounding and protection. Ongoing mentoring and fellowship is offered through the Reiki Shares and other Reiki workshops and retreats. More details at www.untiethestring.com

What is Breathe the Tarot?
I invite you to explore the universal themes from the tarot through a breathwork healing journey where you will experience the amazing effects of conscious connected breathwork on emotional mood, physical wellness, mental clarity and spiritual connection. My music and guidance for this journey will be inspired by Card 17 of the major Arcana - The Star. This breathe is about hope and inspiration. A main theme of The Star is having faith in the future and anticipation of good things to come. We can also breathe into renewed motivation and a sense of our inner power. The star brings us answers. This is a time to ask for answers to come from our higher selves or a higher power. This card invites you to open your heart and share your love, to pour from your cup to fill up the cups of those around you. With the energy of the Star, you feel centred and tranquil even if all is not calm around you and you emanate this harmony like a shining light.I am a certified breathwork facilitator and I will guide you throughout the session. No experience is necessary, just come along with an open mind and the willingness to breathe in community with like minded souls. There will be a wonderful, evocative music to help you access your inner wisdom through this special yet simple form of breathwork. We have time before and after to talk and share our experiences as we combine forces to co create a wonderful and safe space for personal development and transformation. The event has four main parts to it as follows:
Part One: Exploring the theme
We begin with a guided introduction to the main themes inspired by this tarot card. We will talk or do activities in either in small groups or open circle to discover where you want to go with this theme.
Part Two: Getting ready to breathe
You can listen to my explanation of the method and benefits of the conscious connected breath before you create a breathing nest with your cushions, blankets and mats (please bring these with you) so that you are comfortable when you go deep into our healing journey, using the conscious connected breathing method.
Part Three: Your Breathwork Healing Journey
We are then ready to go deep into a conscious connected breathwork healing journey. I will guide you in both the style of breath (including adaptations) and the themes to breathe into, as I play my evocative music playlist curated around the messages of the card. Personal healing on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level is welcomed into your individual experience. both the breath and the theme as I play you a specially compiled playlist of evocative music curated around the themes of the tarot card. Personal growth and healing is welcomed into your very individual experience, whether you follow these themes or spontaneously go on a different journey as you breathe.
Part four: Closing Circle
At the end of the playlist, there is time for integration, reflection and an opportunity to talk about your experience if you wish. There will be a chance to share your experiences or simply listen in as we discuss the effects of the practice. Can anyone do this?
Please check the contraindications below and consider if you will need to adapt the breath during our workshop, perhaps using a coherent breath or taking it slowly. Give the gift of Reiki to your friends! You will be sharing some lovely Reiki treatments with each other at this first Reiki share of 2025!
- What will we do at the share? We usually have half an hour of circle time with a cup of tea while we catch up with friends, ask questions and set intentions. Then a short meditation before we move to the treatment tables to exchange reiki. We usually exchange reiki in groups of 3, giving two treatments of 20-25 minutes and receiving one treatment. We have 5 minutes in between treatments for feedback. At the end there is another circle time to ask questions and say goodbye. The focus is on giving support to others, both healing and support on our Reiki journeys. We are all at different stages and you are welcome to join in from the moment you have received your Level 1 training. We have a good mix of Level 1 members and members who are at Level 2 and a couple of Reiki Masters are also in the group.
- What to bring? Please don't forget your blanket and pillow!!!! You are welcome to bring a portable step or eye mask or knee support if you need them. I will provide the tea and biscuits. You are always welcome to bring special milk or biscuits if you have specific dietary requirements.

- How do I pay? This is the link to pay via the GDPR compliant booking calendar hosted by Bookaby Some may wish to pay cash for the following month's event when I see you at a Reiki Shares (Cash needs to be in an envelope with your name on it and the date you want to pay for.)
- What is the cancellation policy? Refunds are given in the unlikely event that the Reiki share is cancelled. Tickets are otherwise non transferable and non refundable. The share will be cancelled if less than 4 people have registered. I may move participants from 'going' to 'not going' if a booking remains unpaid, so that I can organise the share for the correct number of people and offer places to anyone waiting.
